The challenge

Translation earbuds are a category most people don't know exists. The reel needed to accomplish three things: introduce the concept (earbuds that translate in real time), demonstrate the product working in a believable scenario, and make the viewer want a pair. All in under 30 seconds.

Creative approach

Production details

Shot on iPhone 15 Pro with natural light and a single lavalier mic. Total production time: 3 hours from concept to final edit. The key technical decision was the split-screen format — it made the translation concept instantly understandable without any explanation.

What the brand got

The reel reached 85K+ views, generated significant comment engagement (people asking where to buy was the most common comment), and was reused by Timekettle in their paid ad rotation. The content worked because it showed the product solving a real problem in a real scenario — the core principle of effective UGC.

Lesson for tech brands

If your product is innovative but unfamiliar, UGC should focus on the use case, not the technology. Nobody cares about the AI chip inside the earbuds — they care about effortlessly ordering coffee in Tokyo. Lead with the human experience, and the technology becomes impressive by implication.
